After some spare time, have lunch at a neighborhood eatery before continuing on through Ouarzazate, also known as the Sahara Gate. Continue to Boumaln-Dades, admiring the scenic road along the Dades Valley, where you can enjoy dinner and spend the night at Kasba Amazigh or the Chems Hotel. Day 2: Dades – Todga Gorges – Merzuga After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Tingir and its spectacular Todga Gorges, stopping for some free time to explore the canyons. Have lunch at a local café and continue on to Merzouga to meet your camel caravan.Enjoy the sunset while riding a camel in the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Arrive at your camp in the desert before it gets dark so you may eat a traditional Moroccan meal under the stars.You’ll be entertained by local nomads who will also show you how to play the Tam-Tam drums.. Enjoy your meal and stay the night. Merzouga Ouarzazate to Marrakech on Day 3 Before breakfast (optional), get up early to take in the dawn. Your driver will be waiting to pick you up for the ride back to Marrakech. Midway through, pause to have lunch at a nearby eatery. Your departure place or Jemaa El Fna will be where you are dropped off. 8pm. You can also book an overnight upgrade at a Bedouin camp, such as the Deluxe desert camp with a luxurious private tent with showers, bathrooms, and 5-star amenities. Day 2: Tinghir – Merzuga After breakfast at your hotel in Tinghir, your journey will begin today with a drive along the 1001 Kasba Road to Tinghir Oasis, where you will turn onto a secondary road that leads along the river to the Todra Canyons After some free time, to enjoy the immensity of the huge cliffs and have lunch at a local cafe (at your leisure), continue in the afternoon to Erfoud, famous for its date market and the starting point of the ancient trade caravans that crossed the Sahara Desert to Tombouctou. Continue to Merzouga through the rocky desert landscape. Upon arrival at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes, meet your camel caravan and ride them across the amazing dunes, changing color as the sun sets on the horizon. Reach your camp in the Sahara Desert, located in the middle of nowhere, just before dark. After some time to admire the dunes and surrounding scenery, prepare for a Moroccan dinner served under the stars by the fire. In the late afternoon, enjoy Berber music accompanied by local presenters playing drums Day 3: Merzouga Marrakech After an early breakfast and a camel ride back to the main road, meet your driver and return to Marrakech. Have lunch along the way, passing through the Valley of the Roses, and continue through the high Atlas Mountains to Marrakech. Finish your desert tour in Marrakech around 8pm.

In the morning, meet your driver at your hotel or riad and travel across the High Atlas Mountains to Qasba Ait Ben Haddou. Restrooms are right outside, and you can freshen up in the common room. If you choose a luxury tent, it is located in a more isolated and scenic area, providing added comfort and a guaranteed private tent with flushable western toilets, hot showers and a hearty dinner and breakfast. Day 3: Merzouga to Fez If you want to admire the sunrise, you will be awakened by the desert masters. After breakfast, head along the Ziz River with its amazing oasis lined with palm trees and fortified xuras (castles), all the way to Midelt, a small town in the middle of the Atlas Mountains, where you will stop for lunch for the day. Continue your journey toward Fez across the Middle Atlas Mountains in the late afternoon.
